CCOWE Women’s Fellowship started on March 23, 1980, with the objective of connecting sisters-in-Christ from different Chinese Churches in the Philippines and encouraging them to do the Lord’s work. For more than 4 decades, they held quarterly events that brought women together for evangelism, fun, food, and outreach. In early 2023, its name was changed to CCOWE Golden Joy Fellowship in order to expand its ministry and to invite men to also participate in their activities.
The vision of CCOWE Golden Joy Fellowship comes from Psalm 71:18, “Even when I am old and gray, do not forsake me, O God, till I declare your power to the next generation, your might to all who are to come.”
